Making a long song
If you use the bar down the bottom, you can scroll further along your song. This will represent HOW LONG your song must go for. You should think about a few things when making the song:
Does my beat change enough, but not too much
Does my bass line change too much or too little
How can my melody be more interesting
Do all my notes work together.
This project is meant to take you time. You are to spend some care creating it. People have been able to represent song and even cover other artists using this program, and that is also something you are able to do (try if you dare) but it is extremely difficult to get an accurate representation.
Finally, BE CREATIVE! There is no 'right' and 'wrong' but just an expression of your creativity. There are notes and beats that don't particularly work well together, and it's important that you understand that using them may or may not be detrimental to your overall song.
